Many from the doll world have already started the transition of moving from ebay to UHippo to sell their dolls and dolly related items.

UHippo is a new auction site that is open to everyone in the US and internationally. It is much like Ebay in that it has many categories available for auctions including Dolls and doll related categories. The fees are very reasonable and Fair. A feedback system is in effect and it does not favor either the buyer or the seller. There are payment options available including Paypal. It's pretty easy to navigate and offers great potential and opportunity to everyone!!

The owner of UHippo is happily working with the doll Community to help ensure an easy transition and success for those who choose to sell there. If you choose to open an account at UHippo, be sure to go up to the top right and click on 'help', move your cursor down to 'contact us' under help, send a message stating that you were referred there by me (Elizabeth Townsley, a friend (if you have a friend that is already a member there), or the doll community and you will be given a $3 credit to get yourself started there.

If your a seller I am sure you want to bring your customers from Ebay with you to UHippo.com! This is how you can make that possible without violating Ebay rules:
Go to your 'me' page on ebay and post the link to UHippo.com (if you have set up an account on UHippo be sure to post your UHippo username as well). Then in your Ebay auctions put at the top an invitation to your visitors to check out your 'me' page for some exciting dolly developments.

This transition will take some time. We sellers rely on the income we make from our sales to keep us going and our buyers like the ease of finding the dolls and doll items they love easily. For awhile we will have to sell (and buy) from both sites until UHippo builds up it's traffic. This is a good thing as it gives us all the time we need to spread the word and make the transition a success for everyone!!
